Do you think there is any chance that the 2012 apocalypse predictions might come true?
learn to swim... learn to swim... learn to swim...
BTW: I have a "retarded" daughter that is able to state her case when asked, so certainly you can.
a big tidal wave will take Florida and California will crumble into the sea. listen to meynard j Keenan and learn to swim
@axel: based on your obvious intelligence maybe you would like to say something that will enlighten the rest of us morons. I mean rather than just insulting everyone.(note sarcasm)
@axl Wyoming has 6 votes and north Dakota has 3 you can't judge all of the state off of three people!
So Axel, the males under 21 who believe in this, are they just waiting for their sex-change operations then?
To the 17% who said YES....I have some land in the Everglades to sell you. Water view. Protected area. Tons of space. Call me.
earthquakes on the east coast... it's coming.
The Mayan Long Count calendar "resets" on December 21, 2012. The world may not end, but the Mayans predicted that a new cycle would begin then. A new era, in a way. What that means, I cannot say. Personally, with the hurricanes, earthquakes, wars and going on, there is definitely a chance of doom.
Highly unlikely but who knows anything can happen
Smanpoint1 you add it like /11/ + /01/ and I don't believe it I just thought it was cool
I would think that most women under 21 should make less than 50k. Most respectable professions that pay more than 50k require a college degree...
Also, woman that make less than 50k a year and are under 21 apparently are moronic.
this was a state intelligence test. The more red your test is, the better you did. we have one state that is functionally retarded and one that is on the edge.
@Robert - why not for 500-1000 years? What more proof do you have that it will be then and not 2012? Saying it will happen in 500 years is just as silly as saying it will happen next year. We have no way of knowing for sure when, but lets not turn our heads and be ignorant to the world around us!
Whenever it's time, Jesus will be here.
funny ya no lol but if so our god will take us to a better life in heaven
The human race is bound for destruction in the long run, but thats going to happen for atleast 500-1000 years.
I'm sure that if the end comes.... the republicans will find a way to blame Obama.
@turtleboy until you realize that 2001+2010=4011
Now that Steve Jobs has resigned…definitely.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24:36 KJV)
@tcdlord the Mayan calendar was made in a circle.the circle just happened to end in 2012
Sure I think 2012 will be the end of the world... for congressional incumbents.
No, but hey if it happens it happens. We have to cherish everyday regardless. So many around the world feeling each day is special.
Lol krfoster, good one!
No I'm not worried about it but I guess it could happen
But I don't think so
if you look at the way the myan calender is set up, the 2012 they predicted has already passed
I don't know but there is no way anyone could know the future
Check out these results! If you're broke like me, YOU'RE CROSSING YOUR FINGERS FOR IT!!! I'm priceless.
@cheesecake Right on!
Well, I don't think that any of the predictions saying it's sure to happen in 2012 are true. There is just as much chance in 2012 as in any other year.
No, but they are fun to joke about. I like to claim that was the count down to when the aliens would return (and wipe us out for our stupidity)
I love how everyone thinks the Mayans 2012 prophecy comes from movies or is the end of the world..It predicts a cataclysm that will affect the entire world, not the destruction of the world..that being said I don't believe 2012 is the end of days, but it will alter the course of humanity
@newwegg I suppose you can slam revolving doors?
Agreed with Eradicator -- there's a chance, however minute. But then, million-to-one chances happen nine times out of ten.
the planet has experienced ELEs on several occasions, maybe the Mayans saw something and did the math. however I'm planning to watch the new guy sworn in Jan 20, 2013
1. The end means a new beginning
2. Remember that may 21 BS
3. Everything that has a beginning has an end deal with it!
Yep, I said yes because of the wording of the question. A technicality, I must admit, but "chance" opens up the realm of probability, however minuscule...
But this possibility is incredibly incredibly low.
the Mayan calendar had to end somewhere...it's not like they could do all of time
The Mayans didn't predict the world would end, their calendar just signified the end of a cycle and the start of a new one. Like night and day, yeah, cycles change things. They didn't say "world implode/explode/everything is over!" Stupid...
Most idiotic idea in the world. People don't realize. YOU GOT THIS IDEA FROM A MOVIE!! grow up for Christ sake.
Handy@ if Obama gets reelected it might as well be the end lol
Nogod; yeah, we got it you are a nonbeliever. you know those Christians that come to your door and try to convert you to their religion? you are them times 10. just get over yourself, please!
I believe terrorist will use this date for a major attack
I don't think we as humans could possibly predict the end of our days.
I love the "I believe the rapture. That 2012 stuff is crazy". I mean come on. How can you not feel weird writing that. How is the rapture any more believable?
