It's actually a really great news service in the line of BBC more then anything else. They have top of the line international coverage and I really enjoy the lack of bluster you hear on American news.

Al-Jazeera's international reports aren't bad. BBC International is still the best though. It is nice to hear actual NEWS instead of tabloids and tunnel-visioned reporting that lasts days on end.

Nothing against Al-Jazeera, but I'm not watching Current TV now, and no plans on starting. Has nothing to do with politics.
I only watch TV for news. I have TV shows I like, but I buy those on Blueray, not watch them on TV.

Al gore had a tv network?

Why would we even care what Al Jezeera has to say? I know I won't be watching and they will just be relegated to some obscure channel that no one sees anyway. Who knew Al Gore had a network? He's just as irrelevant as Al Jezeera....and NO I am NOT impressed with Gore's dumb Nobel Prize.

I have watched Al-Jazeera English in the past on my iPhone, and I liked seeing the different perspective. Would it become my primary news source? Probably not. Would I watch it in hopes of seeing a different view of current events? Maybe. Would it eventually be filtered like CNN/FOX/MSNBC? Probably.

Al-Jazeera has an anti-American agenda. No thanks

I've got the app on my iPhone and they cover the news like the old networks used to. If they are available on Charter I will definitely watch them and I'm a crazy Christian! ????

In addition to US "news", I already get news daily from Britain, Canada, and Germany to help build a full picture. Local issues in the mideast, or he mid-eastern perspective on world events are not of special interest to me. Unless they have belly dancers, I'll be unlikely to watch.

The US has some credible new sources, just have to look a little harder to find them. I put credible with quotations for a reason. Ignorance is everywhere, intelligence is not.

I chose no because I never had the opportunity to watch Current TV. It wasn't available on our system

I wonder how many chose "No" for religious reasons or even ignorance as it "sounds" like a terrorist related organization. I probably wouldn't watch it as I don't watch much tv but I choose to view the question as "would you consider watching?"
Yes.

Al Gore, constantly attempting to appeal to alternative forms of fuel, sold his tv station to a group full of those benefiting from oil. Al Gore will from this point on be an oil profiteer. Irony is wonderful.

It's almost enough to get me to get cable TV. But not quite, so no. Insure wish you could subscribe to individual channels, and for a reasonable fee.

Watch Al Jeezera and then post here the most biased and militant story you see. Then, we can discuss this intelligently. You may find it is a good source of news as I did.

Actually it isn't only relevant to Arabs or people who adhere to Islam. It's just news and media that isn't biased
or full ignorance.

#1 current tv was failing
#2 aljazeeras programming is only relevant to Arab Americans
#3 we already have aljzeera in English and Arabic

It will not do well but may appeal to the 5000000 Muslims in our nation
