Sure. I can't trust the US media and currently get news from foreign websites. Al Jazeera is one of those sources already. I like Russian Times too! If our media reported the stories unbiasedly and not just offering opinion, I might return to US sources. Fat chance of that.

There's few things I like more than American mainstream media...said nobody in the last 20 years. I don't watch much news but when I do, I like as many different angles on a topic as I can get.

That's ok, i like getting lots of perspectives even if I don't agree with them (which is why I torture myself into watching fox :-P) I just hope they don't focus on American politics all the time like current has, it has gone downhill quite a bit since a few years ago.

Al Jazeera will have more integrity than the BS that current has on now. Al jazeera not unbiased don't get me wrong the are "progressive". But they also do some pretty good reporting and offer a good international perspective. Some of the op-Eds they let run I don't like but others are great so

Al Gore selling his network to a terrorist news network Al Jazeera? I've always thought he was anti American, but never this much. He declined to sell it to Glenn Beck, which is fine, but the fact that he sold it to anti Semites instead is insane. I'm so glad TimeWarner Cable won't air it.

I don't know if I will avidly watch the channel but I will browse it once in a while. Current tv had the show Bar Karma which I really enjoyed voting in possible story endings while watching.

I haven't had much of a problem with anything I've read from Al-Jazeera, but I'll probably only watch a little. I try to avoid mainstream news in general. That said, I think it'd be a good perspective to bring to US media.

Liberals and radical Muslims share the view that the US is a problem, a net negative for the world, and that American power and influence should be diminished. They both blame the US for a lot of the worlds problems. Just listen to jimmy carter or Michael Moore for a while and you'll see it.

I like a few of their shows. Vanguard in particular has the best investigative reporting on tv. In general they have too many commercials so I haven't watched in awhile. I have nothing against Al Jazeera, I sometimes read their website especially for OWS info. That, Russia Today and Democracy Now!

Al Jazeera doesn't receiving funding from people who push their political, religious or social beliefs into their programming and/or reporting. It's as close to objective media as there is, I will definitely be watching.

Algore and Al Jazeera are two peas in a pod. Not surprising. Remember, bin laden officially endorsed Obama in 2008 in one of his videos. I was as surprised as bin laden must have been to see that Obama not only continued the two wars but escalated the war in Afghanistan (surge).
