Been married for 20 years, we have never argued about money. Have we had argued about other thing... Ah yes. There are no Cosby families. If you say you never argued then it's only a front.

I'm too young to be worrying about money with my" significant- other"

You guys must realize by now that Vanguarde is just FOS. He just enjoys reading the responses.

I'm 15 so I'm not married but my girlfriend steals my money out of my wallet if I leave it out so we argue about!!

08/27/11 10:39 pm

I have this feeling that Vanguarde is 45 working at McDonald's and living in his momma's basement.

08/28/11 8:32 am

I don't believe these results.. Money is the number one thing couples argue about.. Sex is the second.. Maybe more people argue about sex than money... I think I'd rather have arguments about money.. Lol

It's easy to not argue about money when you don't have any. What we have goes toward what we need to live. Simple as that I guess.

08/27/11 10:43 pm

It's good to have dreams though. Mine tend to be more along the lines of peace and my husband retiring at 40 but hey if hookers are your dream, Van, who am I to judge. :-)

08/28/11 8:51 am

I think part of the issue with the results is that single people are voting no. If you look at the under 21s you can really see it.

My wife says I confuse my "wants" with my "needs". I say it's not the case; we NEED more money because I WANT lots of stuff!

My fiancee isn't the best in the world with money and I am quite frugal. However it works because she respects the fact that I am good with money and let's me make most of our financial decisions.

Lol @ jamesjelly. Same here!

My wife has this odd fascination with buying our kids more shoes, toys, and clothes than they need though.... we argue (I bitch) about that more than anything.

08/27/11 2:51 pm

we both agree on how we spend - needs and wants are defined

Considering im 12... No! But my parents have before....

08/28/11 8:06 pm

Ha ha! Notice more females are at least honest.

08/27/11 11:17 pm

Yes, I do have a Asian fetish. I hire only Asian company, and they have to be 18 to 20 years old.

As for the people claiming I am full of it, I really am the real deal. I will admit to being a tad immature, but when you pull in the amount if money I do, I can act however the hell I want.

08/27/11 3:46 pm

@handsdown - my wife and I share our money. She handles the paperwork and I usually ask her if we are good before spending much. I even earn a good deal more than her. Marriage is about compromising with your PARTNER for the good of the family, and not just with money.

08/27/11 3:47 pm

If you have a hard time sharing finances I would guess you have issues elsewhere.

08/27/11 3:51 pm

@nik. It's the same with me and my husband except we hve only been married for 20 yrs. We never really fought anyway :).

08/27/11 4:09 pm

my partner and I have been together 10 years and have had many arguments but never about money We will worry about it together but never argue. Life is too short to waste energy on that.

Speaking for my parents... Nope. They keep their opinions to themselves. :/

08/27/11 5:19 pm

It's easy to avoid arguing over things which don't exist. Lol.

08/28/11 12:34 pm

I haven't had an argument with my husband over anything in over 23 years.. no point in it.

We have never argued over money. What's the point? Neither of us is solely responsible when we get slammed with an unexpected medical bill or whatever and we struggle to pay it, and we both own up to our financial mistakes.

08/27/11 11:43 pm

Ok I have friends with tons of $ & friends that just get by. We are blessed to fall in the middle. I can tell you that the only people I have ever heard brag about money like Vanguarde turned out to be broke ass.....

We are millionaires so no. The only argument we have is that we need to spend more. Like I think spending 40,000 on s car is enough but she wants an 80,000 one. I guess I'll give in because we are so rich.

08/27/11 11:45 pm

Not saying that some of the wealthier people we know aren't kind of pompous or arrogant but they don't have to prove to everyone (especially random strangers on an app) how much they have. It's usually trashy people that discuss that because they are jealous & unfulfilled.....

Thankfully, no...and not for years now!

08/27/11 11:47 pm

Van- whatever the case is with you, you seriously need to do some work on yourself. You might start with some true humility & gratitude. Then round it off with some therapy. Just my opinion. I promise I won't bag on you anymore even though I still think you live with your momma.

Hubby is the save-it-all-for-later guy, and I'm the let's-enjoy-it-now gal; we've learned from each other and gotten past the arguments, at least on this topic!

08/27/11 11:48 pm

I think such a professional would use proper grammar. You have an* Asian fetish

08/27/11 6:43 pm

who's lying ouchy? what a statement! you have no clue about anyone else's situation. we all have iPads and iPhones so I would guess the majority would say no. apparently your parents bought your iPhone for you...

08/29/11 2:38 pm

Brownsrock, you sound like vanguarde.
