Alicia keys can sing. She is young beautiful and talented. She is entertaining and does not have to open her legs to put on a good show.

It was ok. She's talented and rehearsed and all. I just don't care for her style of music.

It was super nice of these football teams to open for Beyoncé's concert. It's Bey's world, we're all just living in it.

It seems like every year people grouse about the halftime show. It is always the worst6 tht they can remember. I loved the costumes, the dancing, and just plain old thought it was a great show.

Definitely was not impressed. Wasn't appropriate for all of the families watching, very disappointing to see that.

Same old thing from her. I wasn't impressed.

Beyonce was not lip syncing. There was no huge riff in halo. If she were lip syncing that Halo riff would have been flawless.

The lighting and special effects blew me away. I suppose Beyonce herself was alright, but she's not really my cup of tea.

Being a role model themselves instead of athletes, actors, performers, politicians, etc thus world wouldn't be so messed up.

Being a role model for their children instead if expecting an actor, athlete, performer, etc to do it for them this world wouldn't be so jacked up.

I have sons and didn't want them watching it nor would I want a daughter to watch it either if i had one. Which is why they were in the other room. I'm not sure where you get the word role model from???? Maybe if more parents, conservative/liberal/democrat/republican/etc were more worried about

But Madonna was much better than The Black Eyed Peas from the year before.

I personally don't have children, I just wouldn't have been comfortable with them watching it. What kind of role model is that? Is anyone worried about their daughters who want to become performers? I would hope you wouldn't want your daughter doing that...

Ugh. It's been said that everyone has a pre-recorded performance ready for the inauguration. We don't know why she didn't sing live but it was still her voice and I think she did fantastic.

Kids DON'T differentiate even if adults like us can. It just comes with the territory. It what kind of role model you become.

It's natural of young girls to do so so to say that she an entertainer and not a "role model" is just plain false. You automatically become a role model when you are in the spot light like her.

I agree change. Common sense is a quality long forgotten (notably lacking in the list of features previously listed) As long as you are "hot" sing or act well you can get away with anything. I don't want my daughters looking up to her.

Beyonce lip synced at the inaug b/c she was pissy that Obama didn't ask her to perform at the inaug concert. Dumb ass didnt even realize she had the BEST gig out of the whole thing , but that wasn't enough. All that hobnobbing she and J did with BO didn't pay off so she was mad. Childish

It was alright way better than last year. Madonna was terrible last year.

That wasn't the question. I agree, she is extremely talented...all the more reason she doesn't need to be so provocative and dress so inappropriately!

@notRoss, stupid question. Of course children see people in bathing suits, but they don't normally see girls in bathing suits rubbing themselves and humping the stage like Beyonce was. It was completely inappropriate.

Yep. Sure did. They know the difference between right and wrong. They know what's appropriate and what's not. If they dont watch it they dont have to, but Im certainly not changing the channel when they can just look away

I loved it. Then again I am a teenager, and I can say with honesty that most everyone my age loved the performance (based on the huge abundance of positive status' and tweets about it). Kind of interesting that the comments on here are the complete opposite...

You think dancing like a stripper is classy?
Also, she barely sang and that's what she's known for.
Not so much common sense, @commonsense
