Have you ever lived in a foreign country?
I don't think of German food is atrocious; I've loved what I've had, all in restaurants. My mother-out-law was Bohemian-Hungarian & her food was fabulous - not sure how closely related that is, though.
Visited plenty of countries. Stayed in Singapore for 40 days but never actually lived in a country other than the US for any signifigant length of time.
No. I hope to move to New Zealand though
Bangkok, Thailand ftw!! :)
Btw the food isn't atrocious - Bavaria makes a pot roast to die for; I don't know why US gravy tastes so chemical.
Much of my youth in Germany. I'm sometimes amused that many Americans still think that's lederhosen country - no more than the US is cowboy country. Germany is pretty americanized, from fast food to rock to Hollywood to theme parks and diners and so on.
China for 5 years and counting
Does 3 months count? Lived in Mexico for 3 months in '66.
I've never been to a foreign country. The furthest I've gotten from CA is Hawaii.
Yes!!! I lived in Peru as an exchange student. What an amazing experience for a 16 year old who had grown up in a tiny, little, Oregon coast town!!!!
Born in Germany, lived in the Azores till I was 4 then moved to Montana
