President-elect Trump this week says it's OK to say 'Merry Christmas' again; do you think more retailers should go back to saying 'Merry Christmas' instead of 'Happy Holidays'?
Absolutely. I wish the cowards would never have stopped.

Merry Christmas doesn't hurt anyone. It is a seasonal greeting that does not imply adherence to a set of religious beliefs.
Stop the stupidity.
I am agnostic but was raised Jewish... I am also currently in Uber driver. This time of year when people get out of my car I say to them Merry Christmas
I am so over this stupid "Merry Christmas" versus "Happy Holidays" thing. Talk about whining over nothing. Which ever is said, another person is wishing you well. Run with it and be appreciative.
It was never not ok to say Merry Christmas and DJT is an idiot.
I think they should go back to saying whatever they want that they think will get them more business.
I've had some retail store workers go out of their way to say, specifically, Merry CHRISTMAS-- even at a Walgreen's!
The un-Obamization of America has already begun! 🇺🇸
ha - you must live in a hole in the ground if you believe that just started with President Obama's election.
The "war on Christmas" is traced back to roughly 2005, but it's still funny that you blame Obama for it 😆
People were pitching fits in the 90s. It is such a stupid, petty thing to get het up about.
Yes, but it's their choice and I don't care either way.
The day is Christ Birthday. Merry Christmas!
It's the day we celebrate the birth of Christ, his birthday was likely in the spring.
I like the idea of happy holidays but only because you got all your bases covered, including new years.
I couldn't care less, but they certainly shouldn't be saying "merry Christmas" if they are open for business on Christmas Day.
I say that due to the fact that they'd be keeping employees away from their families, which takes away from the holiday. Therefore, they'd have no right to say "merry Christmas."
If they are open Christmas or the day before, maybe, but mostly as a matter of policy I'd think they would want to include all of the holidays in the season and not just the one day.
They should say whatever they personally, or their store's policy, says. The President shouldn't have any say in it.
What did he mean by "again?" I never stopped.
I don't care.
Sure. The only major holidays around this time of year until dec 26th are xmas and Chanukah.
On Valentines Day, I'm going to say happy holiday to see how many puzzled faces that I get.
They should, and it's always been ok to say Christmas. Christmas is the reason for the season.
I don't think this matters one bit. The only thing that is important is that we wish other people well. Which words are chosen to do so... Not important.
Which is why the speech police should shut up and people should just say what they themselves want to say without any consideration for what the hearer would like to hear.
