Do you ever write product reviews?
All the time! My my most enthusiastic review was for Mr. Clean magic erasers. Those things are life changing... well, they are when I have to scrub something :-)
The only one I have ever written was for SOH.. Only good things to say
@TopsQueen Sorry, I wasn't saying YOU were a troll, I was saying the nazi guy was. I've seen your username too many times to think you're a troll. :)
Before I write a paper, I usually write an extravagant review for some business I shop at. It's usually way over the top and comical, but it helps get the creative juices flowing
I'm surprised they stay in business, especially with the pro-nazi pictures.
That's nice, pinky. It's a good thing to do - my dad used to do it too.
Yes. I try to write satisfied product reviews when possible since so many of them only address the downsides of a product or business. I also ask to speak to the manager to compliment great service by my waiter/waitress. It's great to see the manager's defensive, worried look turn into a smile.
Only if it absolutely sucks or is undoubtfuly great.
Honestly he's a nazi. The place is quite attractive featuring German food. On the inside is pro nazi pictures. He's anti gay and woman. Don't eat at a German restaurant in coos bay Oregon. The first word is blue.
No, I haven't, but if I were to I would start by giving negative reviews to all the local news channels that will interrupt national programming just to tell us about thunderstorms in a town over a hundred miles away or that some college coach signed a new contract. So annoying.
Porn doesn't count.
Product Review: Show of Hands app.
Product, no. Restaurant, yes.
Yes I have plenty of times. I get a lot of freebies and samples and some sites require you to review products. I've gotten some cool stuff before.
Just because its slightly off politically doesn't mean you can't have a good discussion or enjoy other polls. Just turn off political questions. Plain and simple.
I have a feeling the only person that liked this guy's comment was himself...
@bikerjim Well that was uncalled for.
I'm thinking that guy's a troll...
We know the people using SoH are more Republican leaning than the general population and there is a strong libertarian faction.
No idea why.
There's a local restaurant that all the woman I know give bad reviews to. He is pro nazi. Said if a woman is raped she should lay back and enjoy it. I said if I were ever to commit a crime I'd hire someone to rape him and tell him. Bend over and enjoy it.
I've written a few. One was a negative review for a game that wasn't what it advertised. My best was when I wrote a glowing review on Amazon for a book written by someone I knew.
I do fairly often, especially for books, kids/baby products, apps and big ticket items. Those are the things that I rely on reviews the most for, so they're the things I try to make sure I review.
Kiss my ass boucher
I don't check them either
Err, really? Tony has nothing better to do then create an app that makes him money so he can manipulate your opinion?? There's plenty of journalists doing that already! Ok....
I wait on a product for 6 months than write it. Food the same day.
Even on this question, here come the troll's
No matter what some people just want to complain.
So do you go on line and check them?
Col- This app is entertainment with an educational spin. Just chill out. Take it for what it is. Surely the huge discrepancy between Romney and Obama can't be the most shocking, out-of-touch thing your read on here.
Another idiot from Montana. Bye bye!
Lmao that was the "surprise" of the year
... Lol I'm STILL laughing at some of the blowhards that swore up and down by this app and called everyone else in reality an idiot. Fun times haha
If that is the case don't post comments.
No, I have better things to do. Plus word of mouth is better than written reviews.
Not unless the company has done something that I really liked or they have done something to really piss me off.
- if it's a game and you have progressed give a few hints
- avoid personal attacks.
Just put yourself in the position of a customer, what would you want to know?
Don't give a bad rating just because you can't figure it out. Maybe it's just you ;)
A few tips for reviewing - in my case it's mainly apps, but it should be generally valid:
- "it sucks" or "best ever" aren't helpful comments. Be specific.
- point out the pros and cons
- don't compare apples to oranges, if you rate a product stay within that product's scope
I do for Chefs catalog where I have purchased several things I've written a couple for QVC also.
Freedom of expression goes - even if you happen to be wrong.
I'll give you a virtual high five
Not everyone uses the app! There's people out there that vote but don't have this.
I look at it like voting. If you don't write reviews on a product, don't complain when it never changes.
Thank you! :-)
Then quit using the app. Real simple!
Tony has a glass jaw.
I wrote a review about SOH.
About how the "man behind the curtain" manipulates the poll results. And censors comments that don't violate and rules.
It would be very nice to have the quantity of men, women, republican, democrats, and independents in SOH, what do you think?
I wrote a review for this app. It sucks
According to this app Romney would have won by +15
And Ron Paul would win by +25
