Real statement I once heard: "I do not ask people who are crying if they are okay, because that would be throwing them a 2 second pity party. That is unacceptable. No one deserves pity."
If I do its generally because I find crying to be a very unprofessional behaviour to engage oneself in and I'm going to hint at maybe they should try to think about what is going on instead of getting ðŸ˜. This is just the standard I hold myself to.
