I just found out that my girlfriend of 3 years cheated on me a few days ago. Have you ever been cheated on?
Not knowingly and I've never cheated on anyone. Sorry to hear...
Keep your dignity though man. You don't deserve to be with such a shit head. Break it off and don't look back. Don't even waste your time feeling bad about it.
I'm so sorry to hear that. My advice: do what you know is best for you. If that's letting go of the relationship, let go. If it means giving it another shot and forgiving, do that. Whatever it is, don't ignore what your heart tells you. You'll know.
Not that I'm aware of. I'm really sorry you're having to deal with that.
How are you handling it?
I'm so lost. I never imagined it could feel this bad. She was my everything.
Mind if I ask what you mean by cheating? Some people mean different things. Also, have you two talked yet about it?
She got drunk and went to a guy's hotel room and had fun times. The guy was her boss, I met him that same day when we all went to a county fair together. I'm stupid for not figuring that one out sooner.
Was there any indication it was coming? Does she seem sorry?
Nope. It was completely a surprise. We were perfect earlier that day. She is extremely regretful and very apologetic. Idk what to do.
Do you love her?
So so so much.
Seems like recovery and forgiveness if she's still in it.
We talked today. We're trying that now, I hope I can get past it.
Ima give you advice that many would disagree with but that I truly believe. Don't let sex be the determining factor of the strength of your relationship.
If the strength and pillar of your relationship is the essence of the other person, it will last through things like this. Shit happens. Don't let it ruin something good if it is good. If it's not good, don't pretend. Life is too precious for that.
I'm much happier now, we had a good talk. We still love each other and we're going to get through this with ease. We've always had a near-perfect relationship. Thanks got your advice! :)
Yes and I'm very sorry to hear you are going through that.
