(Part 2) Does it freak you out, that if you purchase a book at your local bookstore, a book that the government doesn't like, that they will investigate you?
It sucks and should not be tolerated. I can see if we're talking about buying explosives out of nowhere or something similar, but just a book from any typical mall bookstore? I just don't see any justification for that kind response?
The government is completely wrong on this. But, I read the article and it doesn't say what this question implies. They investigated and punished the seller, not his buyers. Again, they are wrong! But, let's be accurate.
I am being accurate and would consider being investigated by the federal government for simply buying a book a punishment via invasion of privacy. But I'm goofy like that. I thought I served a better nation where we respect privacy. ;)
Of course, that would be a gross invasion of privacy.
Where in the linked article does it say that they investigated any buyers? Seriously, I may have missed it. I will admit I was wrong, if you point me to it.
