Yes for now, but I'm learning that unless some third party or independent candidates begin to materialize then it really doesn't matter much which party gets into power. Dems love war when they're in power and Repubs love deficit spending when ......

Boston Is voting for mayor. My town is voting to find our library. I am never going to vote for any presidential election for as long as I shall live. Also, you are not president of SOH, your are the president of your little congress group.

We have town meetings but we still have a vote for all the citizens, like a federal election. For example tomorrow we vote on library funding, we've probably had town meetings talking about it but we don't vote in that meeting, we have the town vote.

I'm hand carrying my mail-in ballot to the county courthouse today because I didn't get it in the mail in time. I kinda prefer taking it myself anyway.

I don't know enough about the races anyway. They're probably all for state reps or something.

I love that they send it to me, no surprises at the ballot box, I can take my time, and we drop them off at collection box when I also have time.

It does for national elections. Article like 7-15, section 1, the district of Columbia shall have 3 electoral votes for voting for the POTUS AND VPOTUS

MJSeals J.D.
11/04/13 5:09 pm

But it isn't a national election

Washington is all mail voting so most everyone has already voted.

My town has a town meeting where we decide everything ourselves. It's a form of local government unique to New England.
