I would but I can't. They don't give out absentee ballots for local elections.

There wasn't anything to vote on in my district today.

Boston Is voting for mayor. My town is voting to find our library. I am never going to vote for any presidential election for as long as I shall live. Also, you are not president of SOH, your are the president of your little congress group.

You might be thinking of the party leader elections. Jake won the Republican nomination

No, it was an election between mj, and some other guy, I think Matt. They wanted tony to vote on it. It was really close apparently, idk. I think it's stupid. So why is he claiming he's the prez?

11/04/13 5:30 pm

Oh yeah the poll Matt himself created I see. I don't know why he's claiming to be president. MJ's an interesting guy

My town has a town meeting where we decide everything ourselves. It's a form of local government unique to New England.

pipes
11/04/13 5:15 pm

Ya same, but we still vote as a town, like a federal election.

What about a federal election?

pipes
11/04/13 5:18 pm

We have town meetings but we still have a vote for all the citizens, like a federal election. For example tomorrow we vote on library funding, we've probably had town meetings talking about it but we don't vote in that meeting, we have the town vote.

they treat third party candidates like a joke, and the Mayoral campaign here is a joke. No Republican running and the current mayor, a Democrat lost and is running, against his consent on the Independent party. They don't tell you much about the democratic candidate either. Thank god I don't li

Yes for now, but I'm learning that unless some third party or independent candidates begin to materialize then it really doesn't matter much which party gets into power. Dems love war when they're in power and Repubs love deficit spending when ......
