Arizona Senator Jeff Flake has refused to rule out challenging President Trump for the 2020 Republican nomination, as has Ohio Governor John Kasich. Would you personally like to see someone mount a serious primary challenge to President Trump?

All and all, Trump has done a really good job so far. It’s like they are mad with him for doing a good job.

I hope they do. This president needs to be completely removed from power.

You’d be dead wrong. Most of us realize how much good he’s done for our country. He’s kept more campaign promises than any president in my lifetime and the economy is the best it’s been since 1973, so almost my entire lifetime! We’re finding that a businessman can do MUCH better than a lifetime politician that greases everyone else’s palms and does NOTHING for the people!

Neither of those two would be serious challengers.

No because I don’t like losing and one of these whiny globalist cucks challenging the prez in 2020 would accomplish nothing more than a split GOP base, President Elizabeth Warren, and the end of the Western World.

SOH is a straw poll at best and not a very good one either. Nearly every major poll proclaimed Hillary would win in a landslide election yet it was the other way around. Don’t get too caught up on 34% or any poll for that matter.

I will push for a challenge if and when Trump strays from Constitution. Don’t like his talk of licensing journalists and that kind of crap, but that is rhetoric. If he were to actually try to make that happen, I’d want him out. Otherwise, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by his policies, especially foreign policy. I WOULD like to see conservatives push a little more influence on him, but he’s still been better than I had expected.

That said, I can imagine no circumstance where I would support Flake or Kasich over him. They are absolute RiNO disasters!

I could support Cruz or Mike Lee from senate or Jim Jordan from house, but not Flake or Kasich. That would be major step backward.

No. It’s all about making the opposition look like fools. Everyone knows President Trump is not guilty of any crime while everyone knows that Barry Soetoro and Hillary Clinton are guilty as sin. They left four Americans to die in Benghazi to cover up their gun running operation to ISIL and the only Senator who had the balls to ask Hillary Clinton about it was Rand Paul. Rand Paul in 2024!

Well he still has 3 more years to prove himself before that election. And it’s early in this poll. There are only a little over 600 votes, and usually SOH polls draw over 1500, so I guess we’ll see as time goes on.

Kasich was too soft. He was the Barack Obama of the Republican Party. That’s why he lost. Trump was brash, direct, and matter-of-fact. They ran two very different campaigns.

Regardless of who is currently in office, we should always look for improvements.
Why? Because if we aren’t looking to improve, we are looking to degrade.

Dems aren’t anymore popular than Republicans or Trump. There will be no ‘destruction’ & no blue wave. Best we can hope for is an Independent who can eliminate the divide in America by being normal & middle of the road.

No one is going to challenge the incumbent. It would be political suicide. And of course the democrats are going to say that they want challengers. But I think the democrats need to worry about their own house and finding a viable option, because so far I haven't seen one.

I don’t think America is ready for someone further to the right than Trump just yet. We need to be patient and wait for the right time to put someone up like that. I’d like to see a President Steve King by 2024 or 2028 though.
