1) The Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway was fun/ interesting and offered cool views ($12 roundtrip). The wait to come back down took FOREVER though. 2) FREE whiskey/moonshine tasting @ Davy Crockett's & Ole Smoky. But overall, way too touristy for me!

We have smallish kids, so we thought the lazy rivers, hiking and shows would be fun for them, and relaxing in a cabin would be good for us.

Omg I loved the sharkies!!!! This was the best aquarium I have ever been to.
You can almost touch the water if you are on the normal floor and not underneath the walkway.

You're gonna be eating at a pizza joint, a Longhorns, a Chop House, maybe a Red Lobster...You're not gonna find great cuisine here. This is East Tennessee lol.

Apple Barn is good, but I've only ate breakfast there. Honestly, unless you like Hatfield and Mccoy dinner shows, Ripley's Believe it or Not or ratty t-shirt stores, or Fairfields and Holiday Inns, Gatlinburg and that whole area isn't for you.

Incline...is that the long slide like thing that goes down the mountain? I totally want to do that!!

Kinda, it's a "trolley" (no clue what they call it), but you ride it down the mountain.
If you have time before your trip, I would go to myPigeonForge & request a travel planner & one from Gatlinburg, too. If Sevierville has one, request theirs.

If you don't have time for it to get to you, then be sure to go to one of the tourist information places & pick up those books. They usually have great coupons in them & often you can find an interesting attraction that you might not have otherwise.
