Federal Employees are suing the government for not receiving payment during the shutdown, although they were eventually reimbursed, citing a violation of Federal Labor laws. Pick a side.
Next time we should dismiss them. And then re-hire them at the end. AND they can start as the first day of work with 0 time in service.
Simply because we the taxpayers would foot the bill if the employees won the suit, I'm supporting the government.
Ditto. What do they hope to accomplish?
I'm not sure. The story didn't go into much detail. I'm assuming the compensation wasn't enough for them and they just want more money.
I'm sure they'll come up with bank fees from over-withdrawn transactions, late fees for utilities, etc. That's the only thing I can think of.
