Which one is a more revolutionary invention? The radio or the television?

I believe it is radio. It had a much greater influence on things other than the entertainment industry. That's not to say the TV hasn't influenced other things, but the radio affected a greater number, in my opinion.

I feel like the radio is very powerful especially after FDR's use of it but the amount of impact the TV has on people from the elderly to children in the last few decades has caused a huge change in lifestyle.

Yes, but the radio revolutionized the world in both an entertainment sense and a military standpoint. It led to cell phones (kinda), and quite a few other modern inventions.

That's true but the TV also led to the invention of the computer screen which later on became fused as a set to laptops. TV is also used for campaigning, visual advertising, broadcasting events live and educational shows.
