Anything besides just basic PB and chocolate is an unnecessary distraction. The seasonal ones (especially the oval easter ones) are better, IMO, than the classic cup. But no, don't put anything else in.

I'm not allowed to eat Reeses peanut butter cups. They are like crack. I can't eat just one. I'd eat the whole damn bag. πŸ˜”

So they are changing the recipe back to the original one they claimed they didn’t change in the first place. Did I get that right?

I haven't purchased Reese's in some time. I get my peanut butter cups in dark chocolate from Trader Joe's, and have them in the house right now!…πŸ˜‹
The one Reese's item I really do like are the Reese's Dipped Pretzel's. They be good!

Well thanks for that. Now I have to find me some since we have to wait until 27 to get the new/old ones.

I didn't either. But according to the article, the original Reeses Cups didn't change. Since that's all I eat, it explains why I didn't know...

Yeah. They used the creme for the fancy shaped sweets.

The only ones that were still kind of good are the Easter eggs.

They did the same with Cholula hot sauce. Changed it to save a penny

I hadn’t bought Reese’s in years until this week. They didn’t taste the same at all. Horrible peanut butter and the chocolate coating was flat. Now I know why. Why is it always about squeezing the last nickel out of profits?

I agree.
I thought my tastes had changed because they tasted terrible. I can’t wait to try them again when they change back.

I switched to Justin’s. Organic, delicious.

I had definitely noticed a change in the past couple years. Reese’s were always my favorite, but they’re barely edible now. The peanut butter is always dry and almost powdery, and the chocolate doesn’t melt in your mouth the same. It was very obvious to me, even if they didn’t announce a change.

Northern yah not boo, as I’m more concerned… I’m sure I’ve eaten more Reeces than the average bear in my time, I can’t say I’ve noticed anything change over the years other than possibly shelf life. Fresh Reeces is an issue, once they pass a month or two in age they become dry and chalky.

Neither! Not northern!

Wondering if this change will improve shelf life or change the taste.

Improved flavor with reduced shelf life. Gotta keep ya buying more.
