Both parents (2 packs a day smokers) died of lung cancer. I was exposed to second hand smoke growing up so hoping that will not come back to bite me. I was so disgusted by the habit, I never started. I married a non-smoker. If you choose to smoke, do not be shocked and surprised to receive a lung cancer diagnosis. Although non-smokers can still get lung cancer. Everyone gets to decide for themselves what they want to do with their bodies. I just don’t want to be around anyone’s second hand smoke now.

I love me a good cigar. My go-to is Oliva V Series Liga Especial.

Interesting how we supplied damn near the world supply and pushed it on other nations to now being so puritan about smoking.

I think I'm in the minority that thinks a cigarette is kinda sexy sometimes. I couldn't be with anyone that smells like them though.

My SO smoked cigarettes most of his life. I am so thankful he finally was able to quit. I could put up with him smoking (even the danger of secondhand smoke) as I did when we were young because I adore him and would not want to be a nag—IF smoking wasn’t so deadly. I cannot condone smoking of any kind because it is extremely unhealthy. The same goes for chewing tobacco and similar habits.
Vaping is also out. It’s another unhealthy and unnecessary habit.
BTW, cigars stink horribly.

The smell is nauseating. Many cigar smokers are inconsiderate, smoking outdoors, as the stench drifts.
