It isn’t this app. The far left and their violence have turned me to not open to their BS. No exceptions. I won’t even listen to a democrat no matter how good they seem. No help no quarter.

I would call it growth, but pretty much want the vast majority of politicians and career bureaucrats tarred and feathered, as a start

They have changed. I'm not so sure its because of this app or if my political beliefs have just changed over time. I'm sure there has been some influence from this app. I think my attitude toward religion has gotten more hostile, and for good reason.

It’s kinda like replaying my a video game that you’ve already won multiple times. It’s hard to find something genuinely engaging in regard to anything serious.

I dont think this app has changed me either way. I have gone from politically moderate that saw the two parties as counter-productive 20yrs ago, to more of an “us vs them” mentality where I see both sides as parasites that will never be beneficial to anyone other than the individuals and groups that that own them.

the depth of retardation on the left has made me contemptuous of them, not just mildly disagree with them as back in 2010. people here have made me think leftists truly are satanists.

The left does not even discuss issues anymore. It’s just TDS, hate and anything to attack trump or trump supporters. There is no lane to growth with them.

It’s helped solidify my genuine dislike of the other side, and my thinking that they are completely out of their minds.

Growth. I now know there is far more distrust and hate in America than i ever would have imagined. I’ve been surprised to learn so much of America is stuck in 1955. I thought we had grown as a nation. It’s sad to realize we have not.

When I first started on SoH I was a fiscally conservative registered Republican.
Since the MAGA movement, I have renounced my Republican allegiance and I am now an Independent who votes mostly for Democrats even though I disagree with much of what Democrats stand for.
MAGA represents a dangerous anti democratic, anti Constitution ideology that has become an existential threat to America.
I am a student of history and I see a rising tide of fascism in America and around the world that is very reminiscent of the 1930’s in Europe.
Fascism and religious zealotry is driving the world to the brink of Armageddon.

My core political beliefs are the same as they were in the Sixties, mellower.
But since Reagan the handwriting has been on the wall for all to read had ๐บ๐ธwanted to. Even then the GOP couldn’t ๐ฎfar enough to see what their โค๏ธof๐ฐwould do first to ๐บ๐ธand then to the ๐.

Neither. I am comfortable in my belief in the limited role of government and self-reliance. That hasn't changed since high school, more than 70 years ago. It was the 1st yr of the Eisenhower presidency.

Neither.
My beliefs are not based on debating people, they are based on research, reflection, and reason. Those do not change because someone made a good point online. I would suggest if that is how you determined your beliefs, they are more like whims than core fundamental beliefs about how the world works.
