Oh, when I was young I thought a lot of the guys were the one who got away. Then I met my husband and in the words of Garth Brooks "I thank Go
for unanswered prayer."

No.
Every relationship that ended, ended because of compatibility issues.

Only in the sense that I wish we could have dated (marriage would not have been possible). She was the cutest girl I had ever seen up to that point, and as nice as she was beautiful. We were friends, but she had an older boyfriend who she eventually married.

A few actually and I've reached out to them since and found out really interesting things that put closure to those relationships. Its worth saying hi to those people later in life and actually using your words, like an adult.

I’m more than happy with the husband I have. I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else.

Yep. My most recent ex-girlfriend. Dated for 7 months. The first time I actually felt love. I’m 25, though. I’ve got plenty of time.

@cowboy Tell us about the one who got away.
(Despite being bound and gagged, she managed to escape.)

Absolutely. But we got back together after 42 years. PTSD (Vietnam)—what it cost us is immeasurable. Thank God we are together for whatever time we have left.
