Mason Dixon restaurant.
I’m 50+ minutes away from it, now, but I stop by and eat as much as I can publicly get away with whenever I get the chance.

State St. Diner, a couple miles from my home. Everything is scratch cooking, about as close to down home as I’ve had AND what seems like 30 entrees.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant for a sit down restaurant and Chick-fil-A for fast food restaurant (they are the only one that I know of that serves grilled chicken).

I discovered the other day that Burger King does NOT have grilled chicken. The place WITH the flame grill doesn’t have grilled chicken on their menu!

I went to a Cooper’s Hawk like ten years ago (I don’t have one near me), and I still think about it 😂

El coyote for Mexican food. I have celiac and only those with something like this would understand. I’ve never gotten sick there. Next town over in Coos Bay. Shaken burger. Well they do have gluten-free and they have milkshakes. That’ll knock your socks off.

We only go to non chain restaurants and most of them know us by name and get our drink as soon as we sit. One breakfast place we even had our own table. But we do have a favorite Italian place, breakfast place and a place barbecue place that is family run and has given us free apps or free dessert if they were running late.

Yes! A Thai restaurant I’ve been going to for over 20 years. Family owned. Watched their kids grow up.

Yes. Its probably the best Italian food you are getting for under $40 bucks a plates.

Fun Fact: FATSHADOW was a baaaadddd boy when he was a kid. One of my arrest led to 20hrs community service and while I was doing that we were tasked with clearing a wooded area of trees and debris that went on to be the parking lot of this restaurant. 🤣🤣🤣

It's a small chain. El Ranchero. Decent Mexican.

A place I like but don't go often is Taste of Himalaya. Great food. It is like Indian/Pakistani food. Himalayan I guess.

Bubba's in Virginia Beach. Eat inside or on the dock. And there's a yardstick to measure all the times it's been flooded from hurricanes.

Get the Chesapeake Bay Burger or She-Crab Soup, the cheap oysters or the fresh catch of the day.

...I think I know the owner of Chesapeake Bay Burgers... I play games with him. Talk to him on Discord.

It's a place too?

A Bay Burger is a hamburger with a crab cake on top of the meat.

It is...I uncertain of the name to be honest. He doesn't talk about it a lot. The funny thing is that he loves above his restaurant and is always taking breaks to walk around and talk to people. It is Chesapeake something...I'm gonna find and let you know. It is a breakfast and lunch spot.
