About how much time if you had to calculate it would you say is “free time” for you in a 24 hour day?

Hmm. I consider all of it free time. I sleep 8 hours and typically have one or two hours of scheduled meetips with friends (lunch, coffee, dinner) that I chose. I’ll do things I want to do all day. Maybe I misunderstood the question since the highest choice was 10%. 🤷‍♂️

I guess she is talking about time for which you have no commitment whatsoever, and could momentarily choose to do something radically different than foreseen, on a daily basis.

Which still.leaves me with 10%, because I do not sleep much...

There are easily 3 to 4 hours in a day I can reclaim for hobbies, to keep learning new stuff, to exercise, go out, play some game with kids, watch some show, get extra sleep, etc, changing the activity at leisure...

Maybe 30mins a day if I add it all up.

If by free, you mean doing whatever I want, then typically about 80-90%. That's retirement for you, though.

More than10% now that I’m retired. Certainly not 90%.

I’d say 30-40% because I have to sleep, eat, address administrative matters, and tend to hygiene matters.

Hm. If sleep is considered as busy, I’d say 60%.

Isn’t 1% about 15 minutes?
