I guess getting hit by lightning counts as storm damage

The house my family used to live in on Anna Maria Island was destroyed by Hurricane Milton. It was a special place. Mom and I talked about moving back. It hurts knowing it’s not there anymore.

Not my current home; but a previous home I was renting flooded during a hurricane.

Put not serious but hurricane took shingles off and leaked into my living room. Had to replace all that.

We had a windstorm (not a hurricane) in 2024 that broke a huge tree and landed its crown on the roof puncturing the roof in three places. I got up in the attic and placed containers and towels. No water damage.

A third of the house was covered in tree.

A tree service was on site 48 hours later with a giant crane. And lots of other stuff. And roofers repaired the holes days later.

No, but that fucking witch got every bit of what she deserved!

Not my house specifically, but hurricane Ike did a number on my parents’ house (my childhood home).

I’ve never experienced a “serious storm“ where I live.
