A-political sounds good on paper. But given that you formed and plan to form opinions on topics.. youll likely be empowered to a sense of right and wrong, and when those opinions coalesce into a similar way of thinking to one group more than another then youll find yourself political on some level. If not it just might be a sign of apathy rather than a cherished trait. It’s ok to have political leanings as long as you keep an open mind.

I would think that if you’re a-political, inherently, you would also need to be a-opinionated about political issues as well, otherwise you’re not really a-political, are you? More like “middle-of-the-road.”

You can't be neutral on a moving train. The world is changing around you whether you like it or not. Not speaking up in favor or against certain things is still a choice. It's tacitly approving of the current tides. For me the personal is very much political, I need to be political because it affects basic things like access to my healthcare. Staying quiet and not opposing atrocities perpetrated by your country, not even simple things like voting, is not moral in my book.
