Have you ever used a tanning booth or tanning spray?
Nah that has never really interested me.
Never used a booth! But am guilty of spray.
No I've never used one. Fortunately, I was blessed w/a perennial tan. I do use skin block and/or sun screen.
Now lets see how many use sunblock. I know a lot who don't use beds or sprays but will go out and lay out without any protection or very little.
Stay out of the cancer beds and like the commercial says, "Love the skin you're in."
One time, and after 3 minutes i felt like i had been in the noon time sun without sunblock for 6 hours and smelled myskin burning. Never again
For me they aren't tanning booths, they are freckle booths.
Spray tanned for my sister's wedding. Didn't change my skin color one bit. Totally not worth the 20 bucks my sister paid.
*Shame is for being
People say that exact same thing, then the same people turn around and shake us for Beijing white.
I used tanning beds several years ago until I had to have a precancerous mole removed. Now I have a 2 inch scar on my back to remind me that my natural younger looking skin looks much better & is much healthier.
There isn't a SPF high enough for my skin type, trust me I've tried everything!
Goddammit Indiana wtf
I have friends who tan like crazy. They seem to act like nothing can happen to them. I didn't know you could get physically sick from tanning. Sorry you got sick. Glad you are better now :)
I'm part Hispanic but the Irish in me overpowers it. I'm so fair my skin has a blue cast to it from all the veins.
Yes, I used one once, for about 10 minutes. For me, it was more curiosity and novelty, because my parents had just put one in their house. Haven't been in one before, or since.
You always want what you can't have.
Yes!! Freshly bronzed right now actually for NYE :) mine looks extremely natural. I do a high quality airbrush. I love it! Especially for events/when you're wearing a dress. Gives that extra 'oomph'
I could lay in my backyard any day of the year to get a tan for free, yet I'm bleach pale. I call it keeping my skin healthy.
Years ago, I used a tanning bed but I'd never stay in past 10 minutes.
Headed in the right direction. :-)
spray tans are ridiculous and tanning beds are terrible for you. skin cancer already runs in both sides of my family. I'll tan the natural way, but not to the extreme.
Tommy, I hope your outlook is good
Come on guys! 26% that's ridiculous!
No, and the people who use them usually end up looking terrible.
Spray, yes, years ago. Booth, not in this lifetime!
Blondes with dark tans just look really silly.
Unfortunately, but never again. Became very sick when using a tanning bed and broke out when I tried spray tans. Now I'm a health nut and wouldn't do either if you paid me.
It's called sunscreen.
YES, I feel better, it also helps me as I have naturally red head skin, and my family lives in Fl. and I in Mi. And when I visit a few times a year I don't spend the first week sick w/sun poisoning!
College girls are smarter and wiser. They are looking to more fruitful long term relationships. Not sure that shallow will sneak past their radar. Don't waste your opportunity for a great future...
I decided the porcelain doll look was more attractive, so I've since saved myself $5.
I tragically used a spray once when I was 16. I looked like a carrot.
That would be verrrrry interesting :)
They're up to something, those Mississippians...
I'd just love to see a breakdown for race here ;)
How about Snow White?
Pale is the new tan, I love my fair skin. My mom has fake-n-baked for years and she is paying the price now with leathery and wrinkled skin.
Yeah it does suck. I had a piece of my calf larger than a hockey puck removed because of it. If you are so vain that you can't be comfortable in your own skin, don't worry, you'll get over it once you wake up from the surgery or after one of the many toxic medications.
I'm ginger. I like my pale skin and freckles, thank you. :)
That's what college girls are for. Boom, adapted!
@jms- yea I probably spray to close or something cause my cousin uses the samething and it looks great on her.
Again Mississippi is one of the odd ones out
Everyone looks better tan!
Never done either of those. I have used a self-tanning lotion on occasion, usually for a special event. I have a bottle now that I've had for 1 1/2 years. It'll probably go bad before I use it.
In the Far East, too. Many Asian women will try anything to lighten their skin.
