Neither. They're a foul, obnoxious antisocial addiction, but certainly legally come closer to a privilege than a right because of their unavoidable harm to others around the smoker.

I would've said luxury, not pleasure. It's certainly a luxury I wouldn't want to partake in.

I said necessity. Only because privileges Are given to you. Smoking cigarettes is not a privilege to be given by anyone.
