Used to do it with some theater friends But got tired of making all the plans.

Yes back in the early 2000s I used to go out weekly with a few female coworkers. We all worked at a store that was across a parking lot from an Applebee's. We didn't always order food, sometimes just ordered sodas and talked about work.

My friends have kids so theyll only spend time with other people with kids

Never. My friends are too scattered, and have their own lives.

Several times a year we do ladies and guys nights, but we also go bowling, hit up a local beer bottle bar, and bbqs regularly. We also stated doing camping trips the past couple years. The ladies rented a cabin and guys did hipcamp last year. We got a huge site with an outdoor living room and huge outdoor pavillion kitchen. Planned meals, played games, got stupid drunk (some of us were sober). My neighbors are awesome and Oregon rocks for camping and getting outside. Hipcamp.com

My church does it once a month. We have ladies night out on the first Friday and they have a men’s breakfast the first Saturday.

With most of them having kids now, I see most of them weekly bc we all take the brats places together, but that doesnt count.

This is a “thing” in The Villages. A friend of mine here started a monthly gathering of about 12 of us guys, where we go out for dinner someplace different each month. Tonight we’re doing Hibachi at a Japanese restaurant- should be fun and interactive. Great group of guys; most I play either pickleball or golf with.
