Not even close. ACA is tyranny. Shutdown was patriotic

The wording of the question is so inflammatory as to make the answers inconsequential.

Despite the fact that Obamacare may have more of a negative impact than the shutdown, it was passed by legislators who were elected by the people. So I can hardly validate it was tyranical. We had the option to vote Obama out in 2012. We didn't

On a strictly party line vote even though high pressure on those who did pass it by constituents. As evidenced by those who lost seats in Congress after passage that voted for PP&ACA. But, those ppl *were* elected. That is true.

I am all for universal healthcare but in its current form it will lead to economic disaster. It must be modified or it will continue to become more unpopular.

Anyone who thinks the shutdown is worse is either 1) drinking to koolaid or 2) doesn't understand economics.

Precious little about shutdown was reported fairly or accurately. All it was was a Republican spamming intended to poison 2014 midterms against Republican candidates. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Republicans should've been smart enough to realize this. They should've allowed Obamacare to start without the shutdown and ran on an "I told you so" campaign next year. With how Obamacare is rolling out, they would've looked good right now.

Instead, they look like assholes. They shot themselves in the foot. They badly miscalculated how the shutdown would look.

Time will tell. Let's check back after 2014 elections.

True. The American electorate are a fickle bunch.

What people fail to understand is that the shutdown was not caused because of opposition against Obamacare. It was because the budget wasn't made because senate democrats didn't want to discuss a compromise.

No said, "Oh we don't like Obamacare so we're going to shut everything down."
