If it were completely legal to do so in your state, would you ever purchase marijuana?

but it is legal in my state. They also today passed an extra tax on it (15% on top of regular taxes). I personally don't smoke it, but will people buy it legally if the black market is selling it for cheaper? Should be interesting to see what happens

Damn, watching documentaries and stuff i see prices about $4-$5/g. Just legalize it man. Im paying $20/g now. The black market just made 400% more money than the government would.

Why would I hurt my brain? I mean I guess you have the right to but WHY? Drugs are BAD. I don't know WHY people don't get that!

That's true, except pot isn't a drug. It has plenty of benefits for your body, like curing cancer cells, and easing pain.

I dont get why people want to be sober all the time. You gotta see both sides of the argument.

Pot isn't a drug? Holy cargo your asinine. It is indeed a drug, simply one of the more mild. It's been proven that its greatest danger is as a gateway drug.

It should be legalized only for recreational use. I don't want to do it since I don't see the appeal and I've had bad experiences with pot smokers.

No, but not for any reason other than I don't really care for it much. I'd love for it to be legalized. Maybe my state wouldn't be so broke, and I could get a raise sometime in the next decade before I retire.

honestly I don't know how alcohol is legal but not weed. I don't drink or smoke and I don't care if others are doing it (as long as your not driving or hurting others)but how can people be such hypocrites and not legalize weed when you're drinking which is so much worse.

Liberal legislators care more about controlling the amount of soda I drink, than this growing population of young, government-aid dependent weed smokers,

It is, and I wouldn't. As a field probation officer, the prevalence of marijuana has played such a destructive force across all races, but especially on our youth.

We're doing a debate on this in Ethics. Don't legalize it recreationally, but medically sure.

It doesn't need to be legalized like it is here in WA but federal decriminalization should be the rule. I'm no hippy but pot has a purpose.

Yes I would. I suffer with terrible migraines and I take medication which doesn't always work. If legalized I would definitely be purchasing it for my headaches.

I like control over my body so I don't even drink so I'm good, and honestly half the "appeal" of it is that it's illegal. If legalised I imagine some who do it now will lose interest.

I have zero interest in marijuana. There is no appeal there whatsoever.

Yes, we would like to try it as a treatment for severe chronic daily migraines. It was prescribed for headaches since Hippocrates and as recently as for Abraham Lincoln according to headache journals. Nothing else has helped, so it's worth a try.

It works WONDERFULLY for chronic headaches, greatly decreasing severity and frequency. Same goes for migraines.

Anytime Catpillow. I've tried everything from preventative pills to -triptans, botox injections to acupuncture, essential oils to chiropractic. Some things work sometimes, but nothing is as effective as a proper strain of marijuana at alleviating most every level of pain, frequency, and severity.

Kvaz21, the migraineur is my husband and the migraine has has been almost continuous for the past 15 years. He's tried all of the things you mentioned and is just about to give up on Botox. You've given me a bit of hope. If only Florida will vote yes

I voted yes only because I wouldn't rule it out. It IS legal in my state (for recreational as well as medicinal purposes). I HAVE used it in the past (elsewhere, when it wasn't legal). I have no interest in using it now, but I fully approve of it
