If it were completely legal to do so in your state, would you ever purchase marijuana?
but it is legal in my state. They also today passed an extra tax on it (15% on top of regular taxes). I personally don't smoke it, but will people buy it legally if the black market is selling it for cheaper? Should be interesting to see what happens
Damn, watching documentaries and stuff i see prices about $4-$5/g. Just legalize it man. Im paying $20/g now. The black market just made 400% more money than the government would.
Why would I hurt my brain? I mean I guess you have the right to but WHY? Drugs are BAD. I don't know WHY people don't get that!
That's true, except pot isn't a drug. It has plenty of benefits for your body, like curing cancer cells, and easing pain.
I dont get why people want to be sober all the time. You gotta see both sides of the argument.
Pot isn't a drug? Holy cargo your asinine. It is indeed a drug, simply one of the more mild. It's been proven that its greatest danger is as a gateway drug.
It should be legalized only for recreational use. I don't want to do it since I don't see the appeal and I've had bad experiences with pot smokers.
No, but not for any reason other than I don't really care for it much. I'd love for it to be legalized. Maybe my state wouldn't be so broke, and I could get a raise sometime in the next decade before I retire.
Just to try it
Ever? Yes. Regularly? No.
honestly I don't know how alcohol is legal but not weed. I don't drink or smoke and I don't care if others are doing it (as long as your not driving or hurting others)but how can people be such hypocrites and not legalize weed when you're drinking which is so much worse.
that sit at home, making babies, and work hard at not working and going to school. It's pathetic.
Liberal legislators care more about controlling the amount of soda I drink, than this growing population of young, government-aid dependent weed smokers,
Another failed California experiment that had no consideration for waining ethics, self motivation, and personal accountability when instituted.
It is, and I wouldn't. As a field probation officer, the prevalence of marijuana has played such a destructive force across all races, but especially on our youth.
Only to sell.
We're doing a debate on this in Ethics. Don't legalize it recreationally, but medically sure.
It doesn't need to be legalized like it is here in WA but federal decriminalization should be the rule. I'm no hippy but pot has a purpose.
yes let the blackmarket keep their cash crop
i say legalize it. but I personally don 't want to do it
I don't know, but it's possible for medicinal purposes.
Yes I would. I suffer with terrible migraines and I take medication which doesn't always work. If legalized I would definitely be purchasing it for my headaches.
I like control over my body so I don't even drink so I'm good, and honestly half the "appeal" of it is that it's illegal. If legalised I imagine some who do it now will lose interest.
I have zero interest in marijuana. There is no appeal there whatsoever.
If you want to it should be no one else's business, nor should anyone be able to stop you.
Yes, we would like to try it as a treatment for severe chronic daily migraines. It was prescribed for headaches since Hippocrates and as recently as for Abraham Lincoln according to headache journals. Nothing else has helped, so it's worth a try.
It works WONDERFULLY for chronic headaches, greatly decreasing severity and frequency. Same goes for migraines.
Thanks for the feedback kvaz21.
Until you get addicted, then you know what happens next.
Anytime Catpillow. I've tried everything from preventative pills to -triptans, botox injections to acupuncture, essential oils to chiropractic. Some things work sometimes, but nothing is as effective as a proper strain of marijuana at alleviating most every level of pain, frequency, and severity.
Kvaz21, the migraineur is my husband and the migraine has has been almost continuous for the past 15 years. He's tried all of the things you mentioned and is just about to give up on Botox. You've given me a bit of hope. If only Florida will vote yes
No problem with it being legal, just not my thing
No, only because even if it were legal in my state, it would still be illegal for military members.
But it's okay to stay out drinking until 5 in the morning and stumble through PT. Sounds legit
Already legal in my state
I voted yes only because I wouldn't rule it out. It IS legal in my state (for recreational as well as medicinal purposes). I HAVE used it in the past (elsewhere, when it wasn't legal). I have no interest in using it now, but I fully approve of it
being legal (everywhere, not just here), and MIGHT want to use it in the future (who knows; maybe medicinally).
Frankly, though, I'd rather grow it.
I would, but only for getting high.
What other use is there exactly?
Medicinal values. Industrial values. Decoration, I guess?
You could feed it to a horse. Why would you do this? Good question!
Tried it several times, doesn't do it for me. Nope.
I'd open a 7-11.
God made weed.
after reading the stupidity on another poll I wish I could score some right now
You mean it's not legal in Kansas? Oops.
I initially voted against legalization just because of DUIs. Even though I would be high as hell and laid back, it didn't make me a better driver. I don't care anymore because nothing has changed since it's been legal.
In Washington it technically doesn't go fully into effect until June
It would have to be legal on the federal level too, then i would
It is legal... Haha liberal state life.
Never tried it before but if it were legal, I'd prolly give it a try. Don't think I'd continue tho, I've tried smoking cigs before and I didn't care for them, so that makes me think I wouldn't care for marihuana use.
The two are completely different. lol
Bake with it!
no, only because federal law says I can't because of my commercial drivers license, otherwise yes if it was federally legal
No, never have and never will.
Hell yeah I would. I'd be high right now if it wasn't for the fact that my job does random drug screenings.
nope. waste of money
Hell yeah. It's a lot safer than alcohol use.
Sure. Probably hit up the brownies not really into smoking. mmmmmmmmmmmm
Yeah only for medical uses
Ever? Possibly, but I can't think of anything I would use it for.
A present for someone else? (;
Republicans are liars. If you had glaucoma, cancer or something like that and your doctor told you medical reefer would kill the pain and help you. You wouldn't hesitate. I wouldn't.
Great opening statement. And democrats are......what? Know it all, want to be everyones savior and conscience?
It is legal in Colorado and I'm a liberal. I voted against it and will not purchase it. I'm okay if you want to buy some.
How is that going in the state?
I don't smoke it, but I know that it can be an excellent pain killer and a good alternative to prescription medications with all of their side effects. So, I could see buying it if needed.
I don't poison myself.
Good thing it's not poison or I'd be worried.
