Have you watched “John Adams”? I believe it’s on HBO. It’s really good.
I also enjoyed “Turn”

Watched it all in one night. If you haven’t already you should read “Destiny of the Republic” by Candace Millard which is what the series is based on. Garfield was a very good progressive advocating for the new freedmen at a time when that wasn’t exactly popular. I wonder what he may have accomplished if he had survived and served two or more terms in office.

the ed gein series was sick as heck but a fun watch

I have watched the first episode and half of the second and it is well done, however, Guiteau, drives me crazy, he’s like a nat you just can’t get rid of.
