Have you ever been so afraid to open a Tupperware container that you just throw it away?

Well - the ziplock/glad wear kind - not actual tupper wear - that stuff is expensive

Once. I used a gamma irradiator on half of a peeled, boiled potato, and did not irradiate the other half. I sealed them in identical Tupperware containers, and kept them in a dark closet in the physics lab for a month. The non-nuked half was scary.

At work, I sometimes end up cleaning out the fridge and I just toss everything. It is much grosser if it is not yours.

I don't even think about it. Trash.

I contemplate opening it to clean, then imaging gagging, squinch up my nose and throw it away.

Let yourself go. Why kill yourself or even waste a thought process on such a worthless container? Buy a new $20 set every three months or so. It's okay!

It happened occasionally, but if it was cleaned, then it was done by me because I was the only one that would clean them (I was also usually the one that left them sitting).

Oh hell yeah. And once threw away a coffee pot that had an alien civilization thriving in it for 2 years.

I quit drinking coffee at home. I didn't use the thing until my sister can to visit and I made her coffee. Forgetting later that I hadn't cleaned it, I stuck it away in a cabinet. I found it 2 years later.

Not as far back as I can remember. I'm pretty good about using stuff up, or at least getting rid of it before it turns the wrong color or grows wings.

Yup. Not worth the risk sometimes... or the smell...

Ever wrestle green meatloaf on the kitchen floor? I'll never open Tupperware, again.
