Are you a Tobacco User? If yes what type of tobacco? Cigarettes, Dipping Tobacco, Chewing Tobacco, Electronic Cigarettes, etc.
When I was in high school 35 years ago, we would smoke, dip, and chewing Tabacco, my dentist showed me a notebook full of picture with guys and girls with their lips cut out from mouth cancer, I stopped cold turkey, never done it since
Tobacco use is a bad financial decision. I don't condemn people for the health reasons for tobacco use anymore. They know the consequences.
I do know that a pack of cigarettes can cost between $7-$10 a pack. A pack a day smoker spends between...
$200 and $300 a month.
That is a decent retirement plan regardless of income.
Sadly? Coffee and a cigarette is my addiction. I enjoy every moment of them both! Don't drink, over eat, drive like an idiot, don't parachute out of airplanes, jump off of bridges or use other more addictive dangerous drugs.
Quit for ten years...now I'm back again Marlboros.
That is my greatest fear. Going through all of this trouble just to start again.
do you ever hold it in you hand and just out of no where inhale then look at it and say WTF and toss it or break it? Then wish you didn't start again. that was me.
I think WTF a lot of the time since I've started again. I've not ever broke one they're too expensive. LOL!
I went to dipping tobacco because in pa I get ten cans for ten dollars and in Jersey it $4 per can
DAMN! Little bit of a difference!
yeah I live 5 mins from pa. Cigarettes in pa are like 4.50-5.75 and jersey is 6.25-8.75 which a reason a lot of people are quitting in nj
Cold turkey after about 3 decades of addiction. Almost been a year now and would like to start again right now.
wait its been that long felt like yesterday you were bumming them left and right!
Better now. Just not as happy.
Or laid back.
Or easy going.
Or. Okay you get the idea.
I used an ecig called blucigs every once in a while, but it's not a tobacco product, it's a nicotine product. Almost weened myself off completely..
Those are very expensive and don't work that well for most www.litecigsusa.net very good ones with 100's of flavors and kits that are rechargeable.
Yeah, I got the rechargeable kit. It was like $80 for a couple of batteries and 2 5packs of refills, plus the charging/storage pack and all the plugs. Wasn't really that bad considering I haven't had a cigarette in almost 11 months. Well worth it.
I've never had any desire to use tobacco.
I wish I never said ok!
Been chewing for awhile. I'd like to quit but I don't have enough reasons to yet.
You'll die. That should be reason enough
Id Rather lose some teeth then lose a lung! Look up pics of gum disease and mouth cancer might change your mind. I dip a can in 4 days now one lip a day teying to completely stop
Yeah it's definitely far from healthy but as of right now I still enjoy it. I've been at a can per day but I am trying to slow down.
I am an ex-smoker who still struggles with the desire to pick it back up. My husband smokes (not in the house!!!) and it's killing me
its the worse when someone smokes around you or smells like them when they come over.
He goes outside "for a walk" 100% of the time, but I can't tell you how often I've wanted to steal one out of his coat...
I went through smoking for years because everyone I'm in the service with smoked so it was harder to kick. Then two years ago I went to electronic then shortly after dipping tobacco which I'm almost finished with too then ill be done all together.
Good for you. It's hard.
