After you get done shopping with a cart, do you return it to the designated area or just leave wherever?
I implore the 10% who leave the cart wherever: PLEASE corral your cart!
Why? True story: I had just pulled in to a parking spot at the grocery store and a storm was coming so it was extremely windy. No sooner than I had opened my door when I heard a loud thud.
I got out of my car, and a rogue shopping cart that someone had not bothered to put away had been blown into my the back of my car smashing my taillight.
It goes back to the front of the store where
I got it from, or into one of the cart corrals. I never ever leave it anywhere but in one of those two places.
I leave it up against your car door.
No not really I hate ppl that do that. I always return it to the cart area.
Always return it.
Rrrrrr it makes me want to pull my hair out just thinking about the people that voted red...that is my #1 pet peeve...i almost have to take a Xanax before visiting walmart
Definitely, and I'll grab any carts along the way, and possibly neaten the corral if it needs it.
Worked as a courtesy clerk at a grocery with a parking lot on a steep hill.
One time there was a stray cart that started rolling down the hill, but I caught it about a few inches before it ran into a car. Would have left a sizeable dent.
Unless if I'm in a rush - I'll return it to a designated area.
Only 6% of people don't return their carts?! I call BS, I had a 30/hr a week job STRICTLY returning carts from all around the parking lot, and the job was NEVER done.
What am I?
Of course I return the cart
Seriously I think I hate that 6%.
We don't have cart return areas on base, mainly because we have people who will take out your groceries for you (vets, kids etc) we always take them out ourselves tho and hubby takes the cart back inside.
And with the amount of snow we get, the carts could probably freeze to the parking lot if left outside. And nobody wants a freezing cold cart lol
I always return them, even in the rain. I've been called OCD over this habit. I can't help it, I was raised that way and if you've ever seen the poor cart return workers in WA state you might return them too.
I used to leave my carts far away from the store on the theory it created jobs. My Lil lady is the opposite, returning carts with the dedication of a Scout returning a lost wallet. Now I carefully return all carts ( but only on legal Holidays)
It's very inconsiderate and LAZY to just leave it wherever.
I always felt the same until I had my daughter. Now I try to park near the cart returns. But if the weather is bad and I need to put her in the car first (effort unloading groceries) I can't walk far away and leave her.
I worked in a grocery store in HS. I spent a lot of time chasing down carts. To this day, I always return my carts...and on the way into the store I will grab the first stray cart I find and take it back with me.
I always return it. It drives me nuts when people just leave the cart in the middle of the parking lot!
I see from how far away I can hurl it into it's lil cart box.
Whatchoo talkin about Willis?
