I grew up in a Liberal vote Democrat household. After high school I decided to be an Independent. I want the candidates to work for my vote. Having said that I'm probably a moderate Conservative as my parents were. But the Dem party has moved radical left which has pushed me further right. I just wish we all could go back to middle of the road parties.

I’m neither I hate both parties so much both are the same thing as well at this point the right is what the left always wanted. The left shifted the Overton window so far with women’s rights and the welfare state the right had to shift left too. Conservatives never conserved anything. Egalitarian policies of the left are embraced by the right after all this time and a different normal is what governs society. Trad cons and purse holding fags on the right are just as bad as the woke libtards of the left too

My parents, like most French seniors, slowly drifted towards the Front National. I am more of a Gaullist.

I am by no means liberal but I remember when desegregation was happening in the 60's, I went toe to toe with them, and because they really did want to be Christian, they couldn't really argue with me.

My parents were democrats first. My mom became a Republican and voted for Reagan. It took my dad a long time to make the switch. He enthusiastically voted for Trump twice.

Parents were Socialists until the mid-50s when they became Liberals. By the 60s my father became a moderate. By the 70s he was a Republican. Reagan was his first smart vote. He confided that to me knowing I was a lifelong Conservative, and his neighbors and friends were still Liberals.

My mother was a welfare queen, addicted to free stuff. If not from the government then 70% of my paper route money. Didn’t mind giving, but resented her entitlement mentality. So of course i saw value in the conservative realm of politics.

My Mom has turned to the dark side over the years. I blame that on her staying in an area that has turned deep blue from red. I take after my Father almost 100%. Conservative isn’t the right label though, the best I can come up with is constitutional conservative with some libertarian leanings. All the males in the family kinda follow that script. Probably comes from being a western ranching family - let me be and I’ll let you be (to an extent)

I don’t know that I could ever be MORE conservative than my parents were; yet, I will appreciate them eternally for the foundation that the rest of my life has been built upon.

My parents were Blue Dog Democrats which is now what the Republican Party is today. I consider myself socially liberal, I don’t care what you do, just don’t shove it down my throat and I’m fiscally conservative
I also believe that many of us don’t just want corrupt Democrats and RINOs removed from office.
We want them prosecuted.

Both parents were conservatives, my mother a conservative Christian. Of the six of us children, only two remained conservative. My dad was calling for us to turn the Middle East into an ashtray in the early 80's.

Depends. Is it conservative to think genocide in Palestine is wrong? I would think most of the time my parents and I are on the same page, but then again, all they do is watch the news being told how to feel.

My dad was a Catholic conservative Democrat my mother was a liberal Republican... there is an aspect of me that is more liberal and an aspect that is more conservative. I am a product of my parents.
