Dio, that’s one of the reasons that Islam is growing the fastest, but another reason is birth rates. Islam is growing the fastest, with Christianity right behind it, because of birth rates. Pew Research says this is a reversal in trends, as nones will decrease because they’re refusing to have kids.

Personally, I believe you have a better chance if Christians are the largest group, because we’re not throwing you off buildings or beheading you if you don’t believe.

Btw, as to what you said about submit or die, I’ve also been seeing a lot of videos of Muslims that have said they’ve recently become Christians, even though they know this will expel them from their families, because they had dreams or visions of Jesus coming to them. So it’s not a done deal that they’re going to be number one! 😂

I do agree Christians aren’t going to behead you if you don’t join their religion like Islam does. Though they still try to force their values on you and try to tell you how to live your personal life. But I’ll take that getting killed or sent to jail. Also I think more people are becoming “spiritual” than religious which will probably become more popular than Islam or Christianity

We’re not trying to force our values on you, conman. We’re tired of the government and the public education system, all of Hollywood, almost all of the higher education system and almost all of MSM trying to force THEIR values on US.

I do appreciate that you realize that you would get killed or sent to jail under Muslim rule, but the government has been suing, fining, and threatening jail time for Christians for over a decade now.

Pew Research says that many people will become more spiritual than religious, but that still doesn’t rule out that Muslims and Christians will be the vast majority of the population.

And I would say that many people that are Christians would say they are more spiritual than religious, to begin with, because it’s not about religious rituals, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit (who is spiritual and lives within us).

I do believe that Christians do get persecuted and that’s wrong. I believe it goes both ways. I just want to live my life without being told I’m going to hell and what i should do not do in my life. Christians should be able to practice their religion freely. I wish the US motto for currency “mind your business”

Thanks for recognizing that…..many Christians here even deny that it’s happening! I never thought in my lifetime that the US would be added to the list of countries that persecute Christians, but it was back in 2018, I think it was.

I believe that most Christians that would tell you something like that are doing that because they care about you and want you to be in Heaven with them. Most wouldn’t be doing it just to be cruel.

Thanks for saying we should be able to practice our religion freely. What do you think about public schools that are now setting aside prayer rooms and times for Muslim kids to leave class and go to those rooms to pray, but Christians are told if they want to pray publicly, they have to go to Christian schools?

Conman, I have extended family members that are gay, bi and nonbinary. I understand where they’re coming from, but I have to stand with God. I consider that movie to be propaganda, because most of the parents I know of are not the ones that cut their kids off. The kids are cutting the parents off because the parents won’t go back on their religious beliefs and just accept that it’s ok.

That doesn’t mean that the parents show them any less love.

Loving your neighbor certainly doesn’t mean blind acceptance of whatever they choose to do. Jesus called sinners to conversion. We are all called to daily conversion and turning away from vices. To love our neighbor as ourselves means to want that conversion for everyone. The ultimate goal is union with God in Heaven, and that can’t be achieved without turning away from sin. By not speaking up, we are actually doing the opposite of loving them.

I’m not saying you need to agree with their life or change your values. It means you still show love & kindness accepting them means not trying to change them just love them as they are but you still hold onto your values and beliefs.

I don’t believe in telling people things like that. Instead, I’ve counseled a woman for MONTHS, taking her through Making Peace with Your Past, which deals with your dysfunctional family roots. This woman had been sexually abused by every adult male in her life, when she was a child. She eventually accepted Jesus and my hubby baptized her into our church.

I knew another that gained HUNDREDS of pounds and I counseled her to come to the realization she did so in order to not be sexy to all the men that had abused her since she was a child, including an uncle, and she feared would continue in the future.

I believe that a vast majority of at least women that say they’re gay are avoiding men because of their abuse.

Both Islam and Xianity are driven by birthrates, primarily. Muslim women have 2.9 children while xian women have 2.1.

Nigeria, North Korea, Somalia, Libya, Eritrea, and Yemen had the highest rates of reported persecution against Xians.

I also think Xians so much want to be the victim, that is what they latch onto. Given how many Xians have killed in the last 500 years alone, because they were not the right type of Xians, I think moaning about being victims, especially when living in the U.S., is a bit disgusting.

North Korea prosecutes Muslims too, as does China. In many cases, Xians are arrested for working to convert others in places where it’s against the law. Muslim parents don’t want their kids being told they are going to hell. Jewish parents don’t want that but then we are back to my personal experience, which is not good.

I am curious how the death of Joseph smith led to the victim Olympics. Most Xians refuse to say Mormons are Xians (I would say they are not).

He died, was buried and the direct followers of Brigham Young now primarily live in Utah, Idaho and Arizona. FLDS now are in Mexico and Arizona (possibly Idaho) and RCLDS are in Arizona and Nevada, as I understand it.

There are 45,000 Xian denominations in the world. It’s not like you guys are being sold on auction blocks and put in concentration camps (those are Muslims in China held in camps and every non follower of the three Kims in North Korea). So continuing to play this “Xians are so persecuted in the world” is really really irritating. This is the kind of crap that drives me nuts.

I’ve used those same studies from Pew Research to show that Islam and Christianity are the fastest two growing religions because of birth rates.

I’m hoping that we’re not going to sit back and let persecution of Christians in the US expand until it’s to the point it is in Muslim countries. We don’t want to sit back and watch another Holocaust because we’re not paying attention to what our government is doing to Christians.

Joseph Smith has nothing to do with this. I don’t know where you would get that idea. Christians have been persecuted and martyred for their faith since the 1st century, with all but one of Jesus’ disciples martyred. This is NOT something new, or going back only to Joseph Smith.

Right now, I would say the most persecuted group are no doubt the Uyghur Muslims in China, in forced labor camps, potentially as many as 1.8 million when combined with other Muslim minority groups. Not a Xian in sight. Not a Jew either. I’m not talking about the Shoah of the Third Reich of the 1940’s. I’m talking 2025 in Communist China.
Yes, my ancestors were persecuted but other bullshit said to me back home and here, I haven’t been. Though Russian Xians don’t really want Jews in their school so I was assigned a Jewish school. Still….my only complaint was the Xians telling me I was going to hell, when I was very young.

I’ve watched the tv show “The Internet Ruined My Life,” and some of the eps were scary…..one had a woman that had just left a bad review on a restaurant website, and the owner contacted her, telling her that he knew where her kids go to school due to pics she had posted of them in front of said school, and that he was sending friends with guns.
