Is it possible for something to be in more than one place at once?
Yeah, I go into work... I'm there physically but my mind is somewhere else.
I once had one hand or foot in 4 different states. Four corners
Schrödinger's cat? Multiple dimensions? (Of which, last I heard, there are 20-something)
An idea is the only thing that comes to mind.
With the Internet all is possible
Are we talking about quantum mechanics?
Yes. It is called quantum superposition. I have a link below.
That would our omnipresent God.
Stand on a border.
That depends if you're an electron.
I'm just waiting to see someone say "god"
Quantum physics, explains it better then me... But yes..
Yes, but I have no clue as to.how why how
I don't think physicist know either,. But the mechanics are sound..
I'll go with that
Particle physicists supposedly did that!
an idea could be
Yes. It is called quantum superposition.
I was going to say "an electron."
I was going to say the Mississippi River...but that would be stupid compared to your answers. I'll just sit back down in the back of the class now...
It is a fascinating property in quantum mechanics where once they perfect some techniques we will have quantum computers that process information almost instantly.
What does that mean
Thats a good thought Zuko.
I mean the Mississippi thought, not the back of class one
Ha ha! Actually, I didn't even take it that way. That's pretty funny, though.
Chicken. Computer bits currently have to be in a 1 or 0 position. With quantum superposition the bits can be in a 1 and 0 position at the same time. They are working in testing a virus to be dead and alive at the exact same time.
Zuko, do you have an extra comic book I can read back here? I didn't even see this comment two inches down before posting mine. :-(
I've got a broken crayon and a piece of gum from under my desk. And a piece of something else from under my desk. Excuse me. I need to go wash my hands...
