If there were a theme park with live dinosaurs that had been created through genetic engineering, would you want to visit it?

Did you know the same guy who wrote the Westworld movie in the 70’s also wrote Jurassic Park? Westworld influenced both 80’s slasher movies like Halloween and Friday the 13th but also the Terminator movies. Ironically, OJ Simpson was supposed to be cast as the Terminator but James Cameron shot the idea down because he thought no one would believe OJ could be a killer.

Seen the movies, don’t really care what happened in them. That would be sick, and if it did end up like the movies, that would be a hell of a way to go out

Yes but it wouldnt be dinosaurs. It would be genetically modified monstrosities that were created to resemble what we think dinosaurs looked like. Jurassic Park is pure fantasy.

If China made it, it would be painted elephants wearing feather costumes.

China has actually surpassed the United States in genome editing, particularly with CRISPR. They also surpass the United States in contributions to high-impact scientific journals.

Your joke isn't even funny. We are losing to China because we let religion destroy our education systems and stifle our progress. We are losing this war and your dumbass comment is a bigoted finger in our own eye.

No, but I wouldn’t be interested in visiting it even if they were the real deal.

I read the books and saw the movies, I know how it turns out. Being an attorney, I know what the first course is.

Cool? Yes. Miracle of science? Yes. Do I trust that they can contain some of these creatures? Not sure about that.

Lol, there is THAT, isn't there? It's funny because I had just thought of borrowing that very question earlier myself. I find them to be quite inspirational for poll questions at times.

No. I disagree with reviving animals that went extinct due to a natural event. I would not want to financially support such a park with my patronage.

Same!! I’m kind of against the idea. But if real, I’d have to at least see it once. Maybe get a shot glass souvenir and a tee shirt too.
