Would you support making duels legal in Stand Your Ground states if the people in the state approve?
As compared to other countries, we obviously need more gun / violent deaths and injuries....
While I don't think duels should be allowed at all, there is one south a,Erica's nation, I think it's chile, but it it's another South American nation forgive me, that allows two people to duel if both consent and are blood donors
If both were same and consented. Honestly I could care less.
I'd be all for getting rid of the people who would be into the duels, so yeah I'll support making it legal.
Dear Aaron Burr, I think you've received a posthumous pardon of sorts
And it was not posthumous.
I was meaning the fact so many said yes. I know he never actually received one
I thought he was convicted of treason, not dueling.
He never went to trial, never answered for killing Hamilton. :-(
Hamilton is one of my favorites.
Never convicted of treason, either. :-(
Dueling was legal back in the good days so he was never charged. When real Americans had a beef with someone they took it to the streets. Freedom!!
GOP, the pro-life party.
Except for the death penalty.
And duels. We like the idea of murdering each other in cold blood.
But don't mess with a fetus, 'cause life is sacred.
Dueling is not the same as the death penalty or abortion because it requires consent for it to be a duel.
Life is sacred!*
*Except in cases of consent, then feel free to murder each other.
Lol, I'm not the voice of the GOP.
I never understood the death penalty; I mean I don't care if states want to fry people but why would you give criminals an easy way out? I'd lock them up in a little cell for the rest of their miserable lives
LOL@ People actually voting yes. Really? Duels huh? Wow
Life is too boring, I could go for a duel every now and again
If it takes place between two consenting adults, I have no problem with it.
I ccan already seen businesses being created for this. lol
One shoots the other, then hang the winner. We'd be better off without them.
As long as both parties consented... Sure. Why not get rid of an idiot and slow population growth a bit?
It's about time we enabled PvP.
Sure why not.
That would start thinning out the blood-thirsty idiots.
Great idea: I smell PPV!!!
Wouldn't a duel defy the logic of the Stand Your Ground laws? I mean that one party would already be dead.
Then forget I said stand your ground; just figured those states will likely be the ones advocating for this law.
I'm thinking you're on to something here. If both parties stand their ground isn't that actually legalized dueling already? Not a big difference in my view. Great question.
