Is everyday radiation from items such as cell phones and microwaves causing significant damage to humans?

Long waves do not have the ability to ionize like alpha, beta, gamma, And x-rays do.

I just read about how people in France are very worried about wifi zones and the exposure to radiation that results from being in them. I think that's a bit much.
