Do you look down on smokers?
Yes I have to, all my children who smoke are shorter then me...
Only if I'm standing up and they're sitting down
I look down on every nonretarded or noninfant human including myself. In other words if you are not innocent you ought not be admired including me.
No, there are no good reasons I can think of to look down on someone, but for smoking? My dad is 83, he has been smoking since he was 14. I think it would probably kill him to quit.
Because I think they are weak willed
Do you feel that the same way about the majority of fat people?
Word, I ask cause I feel the same but most people are quick to look down in smokers but ignore the fact that obesity is just as bad
Do I look down on myself? Sorry but I vote this down.
A bit sensitive? It's a legit question. I didn't say you should; just asked if you did.
Ahh a fellow smoker... Nice! Wait did u thumbs down this question?
No - but I can't be around them too much because the smoke triggers my reactive airway disorder and I can't breath / I think of this as my problem. Smokers who smoke in cars and houses with children are the acceptation -- I do think they are selfsh
I don't look down on anyone.
So no, I just feel for them, because I can tell the "trying to quit" people from the "not wanting to quit"
And it's hard to quit
I have never ever attempted to smoke, so I know I can't understand how hard it is to quit. It does seem with all the information available why people start it to begin with or don't try harder to quit . Especial if they have health problems
No, but I honestly feel bad that they smoke. It's so bad...
No, I'm a reformed smoker myself, and am married to a smoker. It's a HARD habit to break.
The action, not so much the people.
"Look down on" isn't something I feel in regard to other people.
Smoking is a bad financial decision.
Although I've been drug to my share
I don't like being around them. I grew up in a house filled with smoke its a wonder i never started. I hate being around people who smell like smoke and entering buildings where i have to walk through a cloud of smoke.
Same here. My parents, all grandparents, brothers, their wives - everyone in my family basically smokes and always has. Constant respiratory issues, pneumonia, and ear infections as a kid.
Not at all. As long as they aren't smoking in my house, in a car with me, or upwind, they don't bother me. It's a personal choice. Their personal choice. Not mine.
I see them as bad decision makers. But, I feel the same way about people who abuse their bodies in other ways.
I only look down on smokers if they're being rude and smoking close to a group of people or if pregnant women are smoking
I'll admit that I do. Especially the type that has multiple health problems related to smoking and refuse to try quitting at all/deny that their health problems (like COPD) are caused by smoking. I feel like they're weak and lazy. Is that awful?
Considering what you explained to TMS below, I'd say your feelings are more than a little justified. I'll shut up though cause I do smoke socially. I am trying to decide whether it's time to quit forever though.
I admit that I'm biased for sure. My
Mom is the worst; she refuses to try quitting. My dad has recently switched to the e-cigs and his health problems improved a ton. She flat out refuses and I don't get it. It makes me angrier than it should...
I can understand. I'm sure it's a lot harder that all these people are close family. I'm sorry, Rhe ❤️
Smoking is cool.
Oh yes totally. Both my grandfathers died of lung cancer, my grandmother and my dad both have emphysema and COPD. Super cool!
