I would be struggling a lot more right now if I didn't get financial aid for school

All? Probably not. But I would be in favor of eliminating everything except the bare minimum necessary to insure that we don't have people dying in the streets of starvation and exposure.

Define all financial aid. This could include tax deductions, tax credits, welfare payments, and Social Security payments. Am I on the right track with your definition.

By voting Yes on this, I'm thumbing my nose at over $700 a month in Disability payments, but I'll keep taking them until Washington actually does this. I think my checks will keep coming for quite a while.

You're against disability payments?

Laney's consistent. He understands what it would mean for him personally, but is willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the country, if necessary. It's what makes him a great American, and it's a hallmark of conservatism. Kudos to you @Laney!

Most. Food stamps, to me, are the only worthwhile need based entitlement.

Not from the federal government. They should provided by the institution they are going to/ state if it is a state university. I'm for school vouchers at the state level, though

My problem with that is that some states (cough cough tennessee) don't put much money towards education which screws over some students in that state
