The constitutional framework is very appropriate. We just need to undo a couple of amendments.

No. But could use some loop-hole closing to clarify original intent, as defined by Federalist & Antifederalist Papers & writings of Framers - not as reinterpreted by SCOTUS & Congress. Also would entertain some Amendment principles suggested by Levin

Because it's not practical in the 21st century. I don't worship an antiquated document written & ratified by 18th century slave owners. Some amendments are fine, some need overhauls. Like the 2nd amendment. Some need long overdue clarifications.

Well everyone is intitled to their opinion. Without the COTUS you couldn't express that opinion. What would you change and why?

Because "shall not be infringed" isn't clear enough?

A clarification on what 'a well armed militia' means in modern America. Are individuals a militia? I don't think so, but I know many who think otherwise. I'd like this amendment to stipulate that that you can't bear arms if you're mentally unstable.

And let's be real- the constitution when it was ratified never said all Americans could bear arms. There where no white men who had any intention of giving guns & rifles to their owned humans.

That's only because there was not equality under the law. That all changed with the 14th amendment

I don't believe that's even possible. Our Constitution is timeless - once we abandon it, we will join the scrap heap of history.
