The Democrats are the party that says government will make you smarter, taller, richer, and remove the crabgrass on your lawn. The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it.

Anything that places one party above the other is wrong. They are different, but equal.

Hahaha. Nice, but I think these days the Democrats are mostly reduced to saying "we promise government isn't THAT bad" a largely thanks to GOP successes MAKING government "that bad."

I think both parties are proving government doesn't work well. And both benefit from more government control. The differences seen to come in the form of what is controlled.

Kinda wish it didn't have the snarky bias. Almost had the makings of a good question.

Actually, thank you. I am interested in a mix of satire and serious polls. What about it goes over the edge? PJO'Rourke is a libertarian comedian/commentator.

It didn't push me over the edge. I just get tired of the two ridiculous parties. We need an independent in office.

I agree. I appreciate the time we has Jesse Ventura as Gov, before he went over the edge. Infuriated the houses, because they actually had to work together to get anything passed.

P J O'Rourke quote. Was going to use a different one, but couldn't pass this one by.
