In a recent survey of individuals with a household income of $25-$100K, 37% of respondents said that they believe they will have to work until they die. Do you believe you will ever be able to retire?

But my husband won't. I spend and he works . It all balances out nicely.

The concept of tetirement is a relatively new, 1st world phenomenon.

I plan on working until I am 65 which is when my son better be a junior in college.

Yes, but I was hoping I would by 66. It looks more like 68-70 though.

I *am* retired - although not voluntarily. I would have been happy to have worked some more years, but it sounds silly to think that I would have had to work until I died.

As long as I remain healthy and the economy doesn't crater, yes. I have been studying, planning and investing for years.
