Cheering during the singing of the "Star-Spangled Banner" is
I guess it wouldn't matter but how often do you really see people cheering during the anthem besides the end of it?
I honestly don't care either way.
I think it's completely inappropriate. Our national anthem seems to be the one thing that people don't try to change and silence should be observed. I'm usually not this patriotic but for some reason I have great respect for the anthem.
I can't stand when the Dallas Stars fans shout out "stars" during the song. So disrespectful.
The Blues fans do that too.
I think it's okay as long as people are cheering the nation or the anthem itself and not the vocal acrobatics of the performer. I think it's one of those songs that deserves to be performed in a straightforward way.
Yes!!! I hate it when the performer makes it about them as opposed to the song. I think that's disrespectful too.
