Your college professor tells you and only you that he's going to start grading you harder because you keep getting 100% on all of your assignments.

Good intention, bad idea. He should offer extra assignments or something to challenge you, not put you through more studying pains. It's important to stretch ones mental capabilities, another to unfairly burden the students work load.

He's punishing good behavior! He's basically telling you to just be average/below average like everyone else in the class.

The professor is an idiot and feels threatened by your intelligence.

Better than fair. I'm not getting my money's worth if it's not really, really hard. Sounds like the teacher is willing to put in the extra effort to make it meaningful for all of us.

I got out of a final once for having a perfect score in a class. Now that's a good professor. :)

Grading you harder? Unjustified. Challenging you with more advanced work? Maybe, but still not necessarily fair if it affects your grade poorly.

It has started to affect my grade. I went from getting 97-100% on my essays to getting 80-85s that's what pisses me off.

Yeah, that's not cool. If you're doing so well compared to the rest of the class, what possible good would it do to put your grade in jeopardy in this way?

Yeah the key here is that the "college professor" is singling you out. That is unfair.

I've had professors tell my class that "it's likely no one will get an A in here" and "don't show up to my office hours, you are plenty capable of figuring it out yourself"...

Then I also had the guy who said "you're in a senior class of a top 10 program in the country, if you've gotten to this point you deserve a B for being here".

He's probably a good professor, that's why. As much as you think it is, college isn't at all about grades. He's trying to challenge you... Or just have you stop screwing up the curve for the rest of the class lol.

Take it as a good thing. You must be incredibly intelligent and hard working to constantly get 100s, so keep up the good work! It's likely your grades won't drop by much.
