Can a sitting justice assert a position before the court? That seems to implicate a conflict of interest - I know justice will obviously have opinions, but it seems procedurally "off" for a justice to be the one doing the challenging. Jmo.

Nay. This is unconstitutional and a clear violation of out first amendment right to association. I urge my fellow congressmen to soundly reject this bill.

The first amendment only applies to people. The Government is not a person.

The US congress has several rules for how legislation is introduced. I fail to see how this is any different.
