Should human rights trump animal rights or should they have equal rights?
Animal welfare and preventing cruelty are important. Animal rights do not exist.
Animals are food and or possessions
Animal equality. Until I need to eat it.
Sorry but anyone says animal equal or over human needs to get back into reality. I love animals but they are animals. I give to charity but only those that help human, animal charities just take away from those humans in need.
What animal rights?
If animals have rights I'm taken my pets to vote next time!
Animals don't have "rights" per say. However injuring any animal besides hunting, fishing, or pest control is wrong.
Why, though, if not for rights?
I always think things like: "well I wouldn't want to step on a bear trap, or be tortured by some kids because they are smarter than me" they may only be animals but they feel pain like we feel pain. They are innocent creatures.
But they are animals. Although I don't care for say bear traps as they don't humanely kill an animal but it's an animal.
Human beings are also animals. We just have the power to create tools and with those tools everything that we have today.
Humans are more than just mere animals. Huge difference between the smartest animal and humans.
Look up any definition of the word Animal and humans fit into that definition. It doesn't matter how advanced we are, deep down, we are and always will be animals.
Sure deep down we are animals, no question, but let's think for a second, we are human... What more needs to be said?!
Homo Sapiens are part of the Animalia kingdom.
You stated that already. I don't know even agree with you on that subject that humans are animals. Nonetheless... I will kill a 25 year old human or 5 year old dog...who should I kill?
Neither murderer, and it doesn't matter what you believe, I have science backing me up.
Neither wasn't an option. If you would kill a human instead of an animal than that's on you. No need for me to waste my time on you. Want science look at common sense. Animals are animals. Humans are vastly different.
Human rights always trump animal rights. I'm not even sure animals *have* rights.
