New England, 1778. Despite your family's attempts to remain neutral, a couple of Patriot recruiters come and take your younger brother to be enlisted. Then, two of your elder brothers decide to fight for the crown. You must decide:
Take my brother? I fight the people who threaten my freedom in this case. The Patriots
Sorry America but family > patriotism.
I'd probably lend support to the Patriots quietly to keep the familial peace.
I would have joined the Patriots. Knowing me, I'd be fed up with the crown already and I would be itching to rebel.
Yuuuuck. Well, hindsight is 20/20, well all obviously know who won the war. It would be a really hard decision for me. I dunno.
New England? Probably the patriots. If I lived more southerly then possibly the crown. The patriots were some of the most radical people on the planet.
And thank heavens they were.
In this scenario, most likely the Loyalists with my other two brothers. I say this only because the Patriots took my youngest brother.
Thankfully my family didn't have to make the choice as we were in England until 1907. I would have been a patriot, most likely because America was governing itself with no seats in the House of Commons. If we had been represented in Parliament
I would very well likely had stayed loyal.
